Jane Stoddard Williams Works in the Journalism Field like Her Husband
Radio host Jane Stoddard Williams is the wife of MSNBC reporter Brian Williams and a lifetime resident of an affluent commuter town an hour outside New York. Her daughter, Allison Williams, starred in the horror hit M3GAN.
Jane Stoddard Williams raised two children with Brian Williams on the Connecticut Gold Coast. Both her kids have found success in their respective fields.
The Duke alum is fluent in Russian. Her father worked in the media industry, she met her future husband on the job at the TV station, and her son has also followed his parents into broadcasting.

Jane Gillan Stoddard
was raised by Patricia Stoddard and Hudson G. Stoddard in New Canaan, Connecticut, where she went to New Canaan Country School. She obtained a degree in political science and Russian magna cum laude from Duke University.
Her mother was the
Director of Administration at Champion International Corporation.
Her father was the Vice President of Marketing for WNET/ Channel 13 and helped build the PBS station in New York City. Abolitionist Owen Lovejoy was the producers great-great-grandfather. He was a Congregational minister and Republican congressman from Illinois.
There are many educators in her family, a profession she is in awe of. She is the host of Bloomberg EDU, a weekly radio show that covers education. She serves on the board of an education non-profit, Horizons National.
They Met When Jane Was the Executive Producer Of Panorama
The couple met in Washington while they were working on Panorama - she was an
executive producer, and he was a new reporter on the public affairs television show.

Jane and Brian said their
wedding vows at the First Presbyterian Church in her hometown on June 7, 1986. Martha Gantsoudes and Richard Sims were the matron of honor and best man, respectively. The couple settled in New Canaan in a $2 million mansion.

Popular Actress Allison Williams Is One of Their Children
Jane and Brian have
two children, Douglas Doug Williams, and actress Allison Williams. Doug is an anchor at CBS New York. Previously he worked for the Yankee Entertainment Network and hosted Geico SportsNite.
He has been
married to Emily Altieri since October 1, 2022, who works in marketing and strategy. The anchor was a reverend for a weekend when he officiated a friends wedding at the beginning of that year.
The producers daughter, Allison Williams, was born on April 13, 1988. Like her mother, she attended an
Ivy League college, Yale University. She wrote and starred as Kate Middleton on the TV series Will & Kate: Before Happily Ever After. She got her big break a year later as Marnie in Lena Dunhams Girls.
Allison appreciates her mothers lessons, such as standing up for herself and other women and girls and using her good fortune to the benefit of others. In March 2017, she

Tom Hanks officiated her wedding to Ricky Van Veen on September 19, 2015, at the suggestion of her Girls TV mom, Rita Wilson. The couple got divorced after four years of marriage in 2019.
