General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, May 8 reveal Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has a tough task to deal with. Meanwhile, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) vents her frustrations. Plus, it’s all about poor Drew Cain ( Cameron Mathison ), the victim. Here’s what you need to know.
General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, May 8: Discipline First, General Hospital spoilers reveal, Jason gives some tough love. What else could this mean but dealing with Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) and his decision to crash that college party? This is one of the only times we’ve really seen Jason have to take on this side of parenting, and we expect him to nail it. So far, he’s proven himself the better twin when it comes to stepping up and being a real parent.
General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, May 8: Fishing expedition Portia fishes for info from Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). Obviously, Portia is a bit worried, as she has to know Drew came in for that blood test by now. So, she needs to learn as much as possible to protect herself. But there’s more.
She’ll tell someone they’ll want to turn on the news. We expect Drew to be giving a press conference about the scandal and will no doubt make sure people know he’s a victim.
Whether he’ll reveal who did it, or just make it clear he knows who did remains to be seen.
General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, May 8: Venting Related to this, there’s another reason we think that news piece will be some vindication type of thing for Drew. General Hospital spoilers tease Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Nina commiserate. Specifically, she asks Curtis “What is it going to take to finally get rid of him?” Who else would she be talking about? And we’re sure that it’ll be even worse for Nina. She’ll likely be watching her daughter stand there beside Drew as he plays the victim in the eyes of the media. Which, yes, he technically is a victim. But there is nothing about Drew that gives even a hint of trust/respect. He’s too controlling, manipulative, and slimy.
General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, May 8: Hear me out… Finally, to finish off what is obviously a Drew Fest, he’ll meet with Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot). She was sucking it up because she felt Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) needs to be chased out of Port Charles. But after that spectacle that was the viral video, we’re sure she has reservations about continuing this partnership.
Drew is likely trying to convince Tracy there is no reason to distance herself, because he was set up and the guilty party will pay.
