    Lindsey Llewellyn Seven Presidents Earn Women’s Lacrosse All-PAC Honors 5/8/2025 9:33:00 PM TRAFFORD, Pa. – The Washington & Jefferson College womens lacrosse team earned seven All-Presidents Athletic Conference selections following the 2025 season. Presidents earning All-PAC First Team honors included Mya Bolinda (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Hills) and Ella Phillips (Arnold, Md./Broadneck). Representing W&J with All-PAC Second Team Honors include Brynne Stewart (Painesville, Ohio/Andrews Osborne Academy), Avery Byard (Hagerstown, Md./North Hagerstown), Caleigh Bogats (Oakdale, Pa./Chartiers Valley) and Sammy Hartz (Ijamsville, Md./Oakdale). Ella Holland (Healdsburg, Calif./Cardinal Newman) received All-PAC Honorable Mention laurels. Bolinda spearheaded the Presidents offensively this season, racking up a team-high 49 goals and 74 points. The junior midfielder also headed W&Js efforts on the draw, picking up a team-high 59 draw controls. Bolinda ranked fourth in the PAC in goals per game (3.27), fourth in points per game (4.93) and seventh in assists per game (1.67). Bolinda also represented W&J on the PAC All-Tournament Team. Phillips finished her senior campaign as one of the top defenders in the conference.

    Phillips finished the season with 29 caused turnovers and 43 ground balls. She also added two goals and three assists on the offensive end. Phillips ranked tied for ninth in the PAC in caused turnovers per game with 1.93. Phillips wraps her career in Red & Black as a four-time All-PAC First Team Defender. Phillips finished her third all-time at W&J in career ground balls (203) and third all-time in career caused turnovers (136). Stewart had a breakout season for the Presidents this past season on the offensive end. Stewart posted career-high totals in goals (31), assists (30), points (61), draw controls (35) and ground balls (17). The junior attack finished third in the PAC in assists per game with 2.00 and sixth in points per game with 4.07. Byard picked up All-PAC honors in her first season as a President. The freshman attack netted 29 goals with nine assists for a total 38 points on the season. Byard also aided on the draw, grabbing 37 draw controls. Defensively, Byard caused 16 turnovers and picked up 28 ground balls. Bogats maintained her offensive prowess in her third year as an all-conference selection. The junior midfield/attack netted a career-high 46 goals, 58 points, 43 ground balls, 22 caused turnovers.

    Bogats also added 52 draw controls and 12 assists on the season. Bogats ranked seventh in the conference in goals per game (3.07) and eighth in points per game (3.87). Bogats also represented W&J on the PAC All-Tournament Team. Hartz rounded out the Presidents on All-PAC Second Team for the second-consecutive season. The sophomore defensive anchor was a force on the backline, causing 23 turnovers and grabbing 28 ground balls. Hartz held down the defensive backline in the PAC Semifinals against Chatham with four ground balls and three caused turnovers. Holland picks up her second All-PAC Honorable Mention selection. Holland finished her sophomore campaign with career highs in goals (30), assists (20), points (50) and draw controls (23). Holland also led the team in ground balls (43) and caused turnovers (29). The sophomore midfielder finished tied for ninth in the conference in caused turnovers per game (1.93). Sophomore defender Emma Herrington (Latrobe, Pa./Greater Latrobe) represented W&J on the 2025 PAC Sportsmanship Team. Herrington was a stop-gap goalkeeper for W&J this season as well, starting against Immaculata and logging five saves. Print Friendly Version
