Master of Arts in Teaching Apply Your Love of Teaching and Desire to Lead to Further Your Career When teaching is in your heart, it’s one of the most fulfilling careers to pursue. With a graduate degree in education from College of Saint Mary, you can mold your love for teaching with a desire to lead and further your career. If you’ve been working in another career field altogether, but know it’s time to be in a classroom, our master of arts degree in teaching helps you apply what you know to core tenets of teaching to make a difference in the world. Program Highlights - Designed for professionals and aspiring educators who already hold a bachelor’s degree in a field other than education. - The GRE and prerequisites are NOT required for acceptance. - Courses are designed for busy schedules and are fully online, with cohorts starting in spring and fall. - To make planning easier, you will pay one set tuition price each academic year! No additional fees will be added. Start on a path that fits your strengths. Students Thrive in Online Environment Jenny had a desire to teach and enrolled in the MAT program. “I liked the in-person aspect of it while still being able to work while doing the program,” she said. The MAT program includes online and on-campus classes and meets on Saturdays. “I wanted face-to-face. If I’m going to learn a new skill, I want to have face-to-face interaction with professors to learn that skill.” Jenny appreciates the background her professors bring to the classroom each week. “They’re bringing real-life experience,” she said. “They know what’s actually happening in the classroom.”
