The Philadelphia Eagles are winning, but No. 1 wide receiver A.J. Brown remains unhappy. Brown went on a rant this week during a Twitch livestream, expressing his frustration with the Eagles’ offense, and the video went viral. He was then questioned about his comments after Wednesday’s walkthrough, where he refused to apologize for what he said. “If we’re really focusing on winning and doing our job, we can’t just keep slapping the Band-Aid over the defense doing their job and getting us out of trouble,” Brown said. “At what point are we going to pick up our slack as an offense. We have to adapt and we have to continue to get better and try to find new ways. “I see that the offense is struggling, and I want to help contribute.” Brown might not be making a splash on the stat sheet, but he’s helping in other ways Brown enters Week 11 against the Detroit Lions after hauling in only two catches for 13 yards in the Eagles’ 10-7 Monday Night Football win over the Green Bay Packers. He did, however, help draw coverage away from No. 2 wideout DeVonta Smith. “Yes, I dictate the cover. That’s every single week. If you look back on film, every single game, I’m getting clouded.

There’s no surprise. When we play Detroit on Sunday night, they play a lot of man. I’m pretty sure they’re going to cloud,” Brown said. “Me freeing up the play for DeVonta, I don’t have a problem with that. I want to see my team win. I want to see the offense thriving, passing. We always go into it with a great game plan, trying to do certain things, and I understand how the game goes.” Through eight games, Brown has reeled in 31 catches for 408 yards and three touchdowns so far this season. Those numbers are significantly down from the previous season, so it’s understandable why he’s so mad, but his frustration doesn’t need to be public. The Lions do not need to worry about the Eagles’ tush push Its really not that big of thing Mike Payton About the author Kelsey Kramer College Football & NFL Trending News Writer
