    College

I would love feedback and I help her develop a college list. She is looking for a mid-size school in a fun area (city or lively town), with school spirit and a geographically diverse student body and a pretty campus. Prefers to stay in in the top half of the country. Not too interested in small liberal arts colleges or religious-based colleges, and likely would not gravitate to Greek life. Intended major: Bio or something in the Health sciences SAT: 1280 (taking it a second time in August) GPA: 3.8 Classes: AP USH, AP Lit, AP Psych, AP Comp Science, AP Bio, Women’s Rights, and will be attending a new health-oriented program at the comm. college a few days a week for HS seniors interested in pre-med. Awards: Science prize from local university with $5K/year scholarship (good opportunity, but she wants to leave the area) Extras: Serves as the Student rep on the School Board, President of NHS, Pres of Math club, Captain of tennis. Spent July in Haiti on a teen program helping to build a school. Gender/race: female, mixed asian/white Location: upstate NY So far we have: UMich, UC-Berkeley, McGill, U Colorado, UVermont, Univ Washington. Any other suggestions? (I’m thinking Villanova? )
