CSPD: Stolen IDs, credit cards found in car that fled traffic stop COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - College Station police on Saturday arrested the passenger of a vehicle that fled a traffic stop after finding nearly a dozen stolen documents, credit cards, and IDs inside. According to a police report, an officer attempted to stop a Ford Fusion with expired registration around 7:30 a.m. on Copperfield Parkway. Police say the driver briefly stopped, tossed out a stolen handgun, and then fled from the officer. The vehicle was later located after the driver crashed the car and fled the scene. A woman who was in the passenger seat, Emilee Broussard, was identified as the owner of the vehicle. Inside the car, police found a bag with 11 stolen forms of identifying information, including social security cards, debit cards, credit cards, checkbooks, and driver’s licenses. Broussard was arrested and is facing charges related to the stolen items recovered. The report did not say if the driver was ever located. Copyright 2024 KBTX. All rights reserved.
